Islamabad:

The Minister of Finance, Muhammad Aurangzeb, underlined Tuesday the urgent need to improve the country’s water storage capacity in response to the growing threat posed by India for the unilateral suspension of the Indus water treaty (IWT) which could affect Pakistan water reserves.

He announced an allocation of RS133,000 million for the water resources division to finance new projects and current projects.
