Islamabad:

The prescription for residence perceptions by the High Court of Lahore in the case concerning the tax on banks’ income tax led to an advantage of Rs 11.5 billion in the national treasury.

While on this account, on the whole, in a month, the national chessboard accumulated a financial advantage of Rs 34.5 billion.

This success was obtained due to the vision of the economic reforms of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and the improvement of the performance of the Federal Board of Rento (FBR).

The Prime Minister had taken note of the suspension order on affairs related to the tax on banking banking income under the 2023 finance law and asked the Minister of Law, Minister of Finance, Attorney General and FBR President to constitute the best team to contest these cases.

Last month, due to the team’s efforts, 23 billion rupees were first recovered after the Sindh High Court Verdicts and now Rs 11.5 billion were taken from the High Court of Lahore.

The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the Minister of Law and Judge Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister of Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb, Attorney General Mansoor Awan, President FBR Arshad Mehmood Langrial, Secretary Finance Imdad Bosal and their team.

The Prime Minister said that the Ministers of Law and Finance and the Prosecutor General team made the historic realization possible with their hard work.

He said that because of these creative and solid stages, tax collection could be increased and that there would be hope for a better economy.

A substantial amount of Rs 34.5 billion was deposited in the national treasury and this money could now be spent on health, education and well-being projects, he added.

He said that with the grace of Allah, all-powerful Pakistan would soon become self-sufficient with this kind of step.
