Tennessee Titans would not have exchanged the overall choice n ° 1 of the NFL draft before the first round Thursday.
The Titans had interested teams, but according to NFL Network, they “never opened the door” to leave the higher choice.

Ward was transferred from Washington to Miami before the 2024 season, and he had an excellent season during his only year with the Hurricanes.
