Robert Griffin III was one of those who sounded in the last saga of the rivalry between the stars of basketball Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark, saying that the Chicago sky “hates Caitlin Clark”.

“After looking at the blatant fault of Caitlin Clark on Angel Reese and the consequences, there is no way that Angel Reese can continue the lie that she does not like Caitlin Clark,” wrote Griffin on X. “I know what hatred looks like.

Griffin later said that his statement was “purely based in basketball” and was simply a “sporting taking”.

Tempers broke out between Reese and Clark after the fever custody committed a blatant fault on the sky forward. It was one of the greatest moments of the Victory of Indiana 93-58 on Saturday.

The current analyst of ESPN NFL and former star of Pittsburgh Steelers, Ryan Clark, reacted to Griffin’s comments on the drama of Reese-Clark. Clark suggested that Griffin joined the “hate train” and was content with positions that other media figures have taken.

“When RG3 jumps into the hate train or angry train, he now follows what we have seen from Keith Olbermann, what we saw from Dave Portnoy, when they flocked Angel Reese to make her the villain, and Caitlin Clark heroic or Hero Story,” said Clark during a recent episode of her podcast “The Pivot”.

“The only thing we know on RG3 is that he has no conversations at his home on what black women have to endure in this country. About what young black women and athletes like Angel Reese had to face the opposite part of the climb and ascent of Caitlin Clark.”

Clark then underlined the marriage of the former quarter of the NFL.

“If you are RG3, when the last time is in your household, you have had a conversation on this [Angel Reese is] To treat? “Asked Clark.” You could not do it because in your two weddings, you were married to white women. “”

Griffin is married to Grete Griffin, originally from Estonia and Heptathlete.

“You did not have the opportunity to have these conversations to educate you on what they feel, what black women treat, what they see when they think of a young angel Reese. And all the time that he imitates Angel Reese and swings his head and moving his neck while he does all this song, his wife is in the back and tightening back.”

Griffin left ESPN in 2024. Several points of sale reported at the time that Griffin’s dismissal was a cost reduction decision.

“When I worked with RG3, he would do all this kind of cheesy jokes on milk and how important he was and how important it was. And he always emphasizes social media, the color of his wife’s white skin. As if the color of her skin was what makes her special. As if the color of her skin was what made good woman,” said Clark.

“I met the lady. I had a conversation with her. I think she is more than that. But it also leads to what black women treat many black men who have chosen to get out or get married outside their race. They always have the impression of having an additional effort to support the woman they have married or the woman with whom they are black women while denigrating black women.”

Griffin brought back from Clark’s comments and went to social networks to share his response.

“Ryan Clark attaching me personally and my family personally about a sporting opinion is loose, without spin and weak,” wrote Griffin on X, with a video of more than two minutes. Griffin also said on several occasions that Clark ‘claims were “far from the limits”.

Caitlin Clark and Reese have a major story, returning to the National Basketball Championship of the 2023 NCAA. The two players minimized the incident.

Clark told Holly Rowe d’Espn after the third quarter that there was “nothing malicious” behind the fault.
