Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are expanding their empire to Wrexham.
Apparently, this time the duo will be bringing back one of Wales’ most iconic beers.
According to the latest report from Daily Mailthe dynamic duo plan to revitalize the historic Wrexham Lager beer brand, with a proposal including a brewery, brewery and museum.
An application for the project reportedly said: “The Wrexham Lager proposals, consisting of a brewery and associated tasting room and museum, will utilize existing buildings on the site. »
It is worth noting that Reynolds and McElhenney became co-owners of Wrexham Lager in 2024, one of the football club’s sponsors, and are now aiming to breathe new life into one of the world’s oldest lagers.
Ryan was said to have been particularly keen to create a venue that offered “an attractive welcome to the town of Wrexham”.
The proposed super brewery and visitors center would include tasting rooms open to fans and tourists on match days, offering a unique blend of sport and local heritage.
The Welsh football club, which Hollywood stars co-own, made history earlier this year by becoming the first team in the English Championship system to win three consecutive promotions, securing a place in the Championship at the end of the 2024/25 season.
