Islamabad:
CJP judge Yahya Afridi recommended Syeda Tanzeela Sabahat for his appointment as secretary, the Pakistan law and justice committee on deputation for a year.
The recommendation was finalized after a rigorous selection process led by a committee responsible for examining the candidates provided by the chief secretaries of the provinces.
The Committee, chaired by the chief judge of Pakistan, included judge Ayesha Malik, judge Shahid Waheed and other judges of the Supreme Court. Sabahat is currently secretary for science, technology and information technology in the KP government.
