Sadie Sink spoke about her character Max Mayfield in the Stranger Things new season.
In season 4, Max was left in a coma after a psychic encounter with Vecna. The first volume of the fifth season showed that his consciousness is trapped in reverse.
When talking about his character, Sink said there was always something that anchored him to the role like the environment, bands, skateboarding or clothes.
“But this season there was nothing. It was clothes that didn’t look like Max’s, crazy hair that was grown out and matted, and dirt all over my face,” she said. The Hollywood Reporter.
She continued: “She’s in a wild, brutal state. It was pretty weird. It was weird feeling like Max and then looking like that and being in that environment.
Stranger Things 5 the first volume describes how Max’s fate remained a mystery after Holly Wheeler was taken by Vecna and crossed paths with a young girl.
Responding to her character’s plight, Sadie added that “Max is a really caring person” and accepts Holly as an ally instead of seeing her as just a little girl.
THE Spiderman The actress said: “I feel like we left everything on the table, and we’re on a good ending point, but I don’t know. I might do it again. Because I love this set so much and I love the character.”
Stranger Things 5 the second volume is scheduled to be released on December 25.
