SAIF HAILS CM for the new Deal Kurram Peace

Peshawar:

The Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has so far removed more than 900 bunkers made in the refewing Kurram while the belligerent tribes have also concluded an agreement to secure the highways crossing the district, the chief minister of KP, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, said on Saturday.

The tribal leaders of the Kurram district took terms of an eight -month peace agreement before Eidul Fitr. According to a press release published by the Jirga who signed the agreement, the former tribal people gathered in Qila Abbas Saddar to restore regional peace.

The press release indicates that Alizai Shiite leaders and Bagan’s Sunni leaders have accepted a peace treaty to restore peace and establish tolerance in the region thanks to mutual consultation. “”

“Representatives of the two sects agreed to establish a peace treaty for a period of eight months to prevent any type of conflict in the region and try to improve the situation,” he added.

According to SAIF, the efforts of the chief minister of KP, Ali Amin Gandapur, to bring peace to the district in difficulty began to give results. He said that the agreement to secure highways in Kurram is part of a previous peace agreement signed by conflicting parties in Kohat last year.

He said the main objective of the agreement was to ensure road safety in the Grande Parachina. “As part of the Kohat Peace agreement, Kurram is being rid of bunkers and weapons. After withdrawn from bunkers, the arms delivery process will begin,” he said.

Saif said that the elimination of bunkers and weapons is essential for lasting peace in Kurram. “This is why Minister-in-Chief Ali Amin Gandapur personally supervises all developments,” he said.
