- AI agents put themselves to work to stimulate the effectiveness of human workers
Salesforce introduced Agentforce for the public sector, a new platform powered by an agentic AI specially designed to help government agencies.
The agentforce branch promises to inject AI agents into government work flows where it is most important, such as repetitive task management, improving reactivity, efficiency and profitability.
He has also already received high authorization from Fedramp to guarantee the compliance of security standards, which can be a current show in American government services soon.
The agent platform for the government of Salesforce approved by the government
Salesforce noted the “staff shortages and increasing public expectations” facing government agencies as a key attraction for AgenForce for the public sector.
The recent AI preparation index of the company AI said that 90% of the world constituents are open to the Government Services fueled by AI, but concerns about confidentiality and security have slowed adoption within the sector. This platform approved by Fedramp hopes to change this.
The city of Kyle, Texas, has already started using the platform. “It is like having all aspects of the town hall instantly accessible 24/7, whether you are an employee of the city or a resident looking for help,” said the deputy director of the city, Jesse Elizondo.
Among the first features to be launched are three key systems – compliance management, complaint management and recruitment management. They use agents to summarize and analyze the complaints of the constituents and detect complaints, to help the compliance agents with violations and calculations of the costs, and a screening for job requests to combine candidates with the agencies concerned.
The recommendation of employment, the request for benefits and the file complaints will also be available from October 2025.
In order to clarify government agencies, Salesforce stressed that Agentforce for the public sector operates on the AWS infrastructure, which is designed to meet strict security requirements for high sensitivity organizations in the world.
“With AI agents working alongside its dedicated officials and providing 24 and 7 days a week to voters – contributing to everything, from routine requests to complex and long tasks – Agentforce will feed a more reactive, agile and efficient government,” said Salesforce and GM of the Nasi Jazayeri public sector.
