Dubai: Pakistani captain Salman Ali Agha expressed his confidence in the ability of his team to challenge any team after sealing a place in the Super oven stage of the Asia Men Cup asia 2025.
The qualification occurred after a day of tense uncertainty, and Pakistan finally entered the field at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium for its last group match against the United Arab Emirates.
They achieved a strong versatile performance to beat the water by 41 points and secure their place in the next round of the event at eight teams.
First of all, the green shirts needed a swashbuckling cameo from their number new striker, Shaheen Shah Afridi, after the half-century of Fakhar Zaman increases the order, to accumulate a decent total of 146/9 in 20 Overs.

The versatile said they had not yet beat their best, with which they could violate the 170 -point barrier, whatever the opposition.
“We have done the job, but we still have to improve our striker in the middle order. It was a concern and something we have to work on,” said Agha.
“Apart from that, we have done a good job. We have not yet beaten in our best … We still only find our way around 150. If we are beating in the middle of the Overs, we can push it to 170, whatever the opposition,” he added.
Agha then praised the rhythm of the left arm Shaheen for his exploits in the stick and credited the high -order striker Saim Ayub for having dismissed by crucial stages of the game with the ball.
“Shaheen’s striker has improved a lot – he is already great with the ball. Saim is someone who has brought us back in the games, and I hope he can continue like this until the end,” continued Agha.
Asked about the Super Four challenge, Agha expressed the preparation of his team, declaring that they can compete with any opposition.
“We are ready for any challenge, and if we continue to play as we have done in the past four months, we will be good against any team.”
