Social media influencer Samiya Hijab and Hassan Zahid, who is suspect in her kidnapping, reached a regulation outside the field, sources announced on Saturday.
The complainant Hijab did not appear during the hearing today, while the lawyers of Zahid withdrew pleads of release under the surety of the district court, citing jurisdiction and submitted new ones before the district court and sessions to Islamabad.
Meanwhile, the additional judge of sessions Amir Zia issued opinions to both parties and postponed the case until September 15.
One day earlier, the local court of the federal capital sent Zahid to prison in pre -trial detention in the case of removal of the hijab.
Zahid was produced before the judicial magistrate Yasir Mahmood, where the police asked for a five -day pre -trial detention for a more in -depth investigation.
However, the court rejected the police request and sent the suspect to prison in pre -trial detention.
The influencer of the social media based in Islamabad had alleged that Zahid – with whom she had been in a relationship – had harassed her for months with threats and requests to marry her.
In a video published on Instagram, where she has a continuation of almost 850,000, she said that he had appeared outside her residence, caught her phone and tried to force her in her car.
“My mother was sick, my brother was not at home. When I went out, he snatched my mobile, sat in his car and also forced me,” said Samiya, who is also a popular face on Tiktok.
The Hijab called on Inspector General of Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to protect himself, while praising the police for registering his complaint and moving quickly.
