- Microsoft Copilot arrives in many Samsung 2025 TVs and monitors
- Interface powered by the voice and “friendly” character on the screen
- Integration with Tizen OS Home and Samsung Daily +
Samsung brings Microsoft Copilot to his televisions and monitors this year “for smarter experiences on the screen”. The news occurs via the Dutch Samsung website and the generative blog of Microsoft’s AI, which says that the combination of Copilot and Bixby “creates a richer and more contextual intelligent display experience”.
According to Samsung, the new co -pilot integration will be accessible via the Tizen OS Home and Samsung Daily +. Copilot will provide “personalized recommendations, relevant information and interactive learning experiences”.
Copilot will answer questions “instantly to share rapid facts about actors or athletes, summarize plots, support learning foreign languages or help decompose complex concepts – all the biggest screen of the house”.
What will the Copilot do on television?
Although Samsung’s press release is fairly light on the details, Microsoft gives five specific scenarios for Copilot on TV. They are:
- Personalized summary without spoiler: “I want to come back The Crown, I stopped in season 3, episode 4. What happened so far?
- Ultra specific recommendations: “As The Gambit of the QueenBut about cooking instead of chess and less than two hours. »»
- Choice adapted to groups: “Hannah loves Roma, David loves science fiction, Mark loves thrillers. What will we all like?” Perfect for when everyone gathered in the living room and want to decide together.
- Deep post-Watch dives: “Who was the voice actor of this character?” Or “What else did the director do it?”
- Daily help: “Will Saturday in Seattle be good conditions for hiking?” Or “cheer me up after a breakup”.
The Microsoft blog also shows a Copilot video in action, its strange blobby face pulsating on the screen with its lips synchronized with its speech.
Copilot will arrive at some of the best Samsung TVs and monitors in “Select Markets”, and we made a call to Samsung to find out which ones.
Microsoft says that Copilot will arrive on 2025 models, notably “Micro RVB, Neo Qled, Oled, The Frame Pro, The Frame, as well as the smart monitors M7, M8 and M9”.
This list includes some of the best televisions of this year – although there is no word yet on the question of whether it will happen to older televisions as part of Samsung’s commitment to seven years of software updates for its televisions.
