Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has arrived. The Super-Slim flagship was teased for the first time in Galaxy unpacked in January, but it was now officially revealed in a launch video published on the Samsung YouTube channel.
The Galaxy S25 EDGE joins the Samsung Galaxy S25, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in the wider S25 family, and it seems ready to classify among the best Android phones for aesthetic value.

Surprise! It’s super thin

Naturally, taking into account its name and official manual units that Samsung has teased against the unpacled and mobile world congress, we knew that the edge was going to be thin – and now we know how thin and illustrated the phone is.
The Galaxy S25 edge is only 5.8 mm to its thinner point, which makes the galaxy thinner phone. The standard Galaxy S25 measures 7.2 mm, while the Ultra S25 is an 8.2 mm relatively large, so that the edge really marks a step in terms of design.
Even more impressive, however, is the weight of the phone. The S25 edge weighs only 163 g, which is almost identical to the standard Galaxy S25, but here, you get a much larger 6.7 -inch Amoled screen. It is the same size screen as you will find on the Galaxy S25 Plus, but the edge is 14% lighter and 21% thinner than this particular model.
He does not skimp on sustainability
The more you make a phone, the less durable it becomes, but Samsung has equipped the S25 edge with a multitude of impressive sustainability specifications.
Like the Ultra S25, the phone obtains a titanium frame, but unlike the rest of the Galaxy S25 line, the edge uses Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 (rather than Victus 2) on its rear panel. This is essentially Samsung’s response to Apple ceramic shield on the iPhone, with ceramic crystals integrated into the glass itself to improve resistance against cracks and scratches.
Given its size and weight, this does not necessarily mean that the edge will be more durable than its brothers and sisters, but it is sure to expect a comparable fall from the S25 line.
As for water resistance, the edge obtains an IP68 rating and the telephone is available in three colors on the theme of the titanium: Titanium IcyBlue, Titanium Silver and Titanium JetBlack.
Camera compromise
With regard to cameras, The Edge obtains a 200 MP wide goal, a 12MP ultra-large lens and a 12MP selfie camera.
The elephant in the room here is that there is no telephoto lens to speak, which you will find on all other S25 models. But by equipping the edge of the same main camera as the Ultra S25, Samsung assured that its latest flagship product will always be a versatile shooter, offering a 2x optical quality zoom (via sensor crop) and high performance in low light.
The EDGE also obtains 8K video recording capacities, and the provisional engine powered by Samsung is on site to improve image quality, optimize zoom and provide various photos of photo writing.
The same great power
On performance, and the S25 edge has the same chipset and ram specifications as the rest of the Galaxy S25 line. This means a version for Galaxy of the powerful chipset Elite Snapdragon 8, 12 GB of RAM and the whole suite of Galaxy AI tools.
You will get an audio eraser, a generative modification, and now a short direct duration of the box, and as we expect us to expect, Samsung is committed in the seven years of SOR of the operating and safety system for the Galaxy S25 Edge.
The battery life for a day?
The big question around the Galaxy S25 Edge was whether a super vintage design would be at the expense of the battery life, and it is difficult to say at this stage if this is the case.
The Galaxy S25 EDGE has a 3,900 mAh battery, which is roughly identical to the standard S25 battery. During the tests, this phone lasted us well in a full day, but the battery in the edge must feed a much larger 6.7 -inch screen.
Despite this, Samsung always promises the life of the battery of a day from its new supermining flagship, so we will have to put this assertion to the test in our full examination of the device.
As for the load, the edge is wired 25 W, 15W wireless and the reverse load capabilities of 7.5 W. These are charging specifications identical to the S25 and S25 Plus, so even if the telephone battery is a smaller touch than we would like, Samsung has not compromised in charge of charging speed.
