If you are familiar with the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, you will notice that the specifications provided in the above graph are a mixture of old and again. But let’s start with some of the areas where the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 would be an improvement in its predecessor.
One of the main upgrades could be the size of the screens, with several sources suggesting that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could have a cover screen of about 4 inches, which is up 3.4 inches on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. So, this would enhance considerably this year.
One of these sources also points to a slightly larger foldable screen by 6.85 inches – against 6.7 inches on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. So, in both cases, you should have more space to interact with the phone, although this should have the greatest impact on the display of the coverage, which is fairly cramped on the Z Flip 6.
Until now, there is no word on resolution, but probably the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will correspond or improve the Z Flip 6 here, which means a foldable screen of at least 1080 x 2640, and a cover screen of at least 720 x 748.
We also expect the foldable screen to have a 120 Hz refreshment rate, because the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s, while the cover screen will probably be at 60 Hz.
Another upgrade that we will almost certainly see is the chipset, with the rumor that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 could use an Elite Snapdragon 8 or an Exynos 2500.
Until now, there is no agreement on which – and some regions may one and the other, but although the Snapdragon 8 elite will probably surpass Exynos 2500, one or the other would be an improvement in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the current model.
RAM and storage may not be improved, the leak on this forehead pointing to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 having 12 GB of RAM and a choice of 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, just like the Z Flip 6. However, its performance can obtain a boost from a larger steam cooling chamber.
One of the most disappointing things we hear is that there may not be upgrades to the cameras of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, with leaks pointing to the same main cameras of 50 MP, Ultra-Large 12MP and 10 MP against the cameras before last year.
Finally, there is the battery, and several sources indicate that it is 4,300mAh, which would be a significant upgrade on the 4,000 mAh of its predecessor. This is excellent news, because 4,000MAH is really not much for a phone of this size.
What we don’t know is how fast it could charge, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 supports the 25 W wireless load and the 15W wireless, so expect at least.
