You can see the rumor and the prediction of the Samsung Galaxy Z Pln 7 specifications in the graph above, but the most important and exciting upgrade that we could get on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a new main 200MP camera.
This would replace the 50MP 50MP 50MP camera of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, and is probably the same sensor as the one found on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
We have heard this statement several times now, so there is a good chance that it will happen, and it would be a very desirable upgrade, since the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, 5 and 6 all had main cameras of 50 MP.
Also on the front of the camera, it has been reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could have an improved upgrade camera. The source does not specify what these improvements will be, but the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 4MP, so maybe there will be more megapixels.
However, according to a source, the other rear cameras of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will not be improved, which means that we would see a return from the 12MP 12MP 12MP of the Z Fold 6 (with a 3X optical zoom).
By switching to screens, and these could be in an upgrade – or at least an increase in size, with sources suggesting that the main screen of the fold 7 can be 8 or 8.2 inch, and the cover screen could be 6.5 inches. It is up 7.6 and 6.3 inches respectively on the Samsung Galaxy Z 6 fold.
There is not yet a word about the resolution, but we expect it to correspond or exceed the Z Plies 6, which means a resolution of at least 1856 x 2160 for the foldable screen and at least 968 x 2376 for the cover screen. We also expect the two screens to have a 120 Hz refreshment rate, because this is the case on the current model.
The other big upgrade we expect on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is his chipset, with reports suggesting that the Snapdragon 8 elite will be used.
This is the chipset that you will find in the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, and that is exactly what we expect to see ourselves, because it is the successor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 used by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
This new chipset could be joined by a larger steam bedroom, so performance can get a big boost. However, we do not expect an increase in RAM, with several sources pointing to 12 GB. Storage would also be the same, with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB models.
Finally, there is the battery, and this is unfortunately not supposed to increase either, with a battery of 4400 mAh for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. However, the screen is apparently more efficient, which could lead to an improvement in the battery life even if the battery itself is not greater this year.
We have not heard at what speed the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could load, but the Galaxy Z Fold 6 supports the 25W and 15W wireless load, so we expect at least that.
