- Samsung deploys an IU 7 to all telephones in the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series supported in the United States
- The long -awaited update actually ends a deployment of long months for the update based on Android 15
- During the months following a user interface 7 launched in the form of pre-liberation, Android 16 was confirmed and an 8 rumor user interface
Samsung finally deploys a user interface 7 to older galaxy phones in the United States, after months of delays and ambiguity on the launch of the latest mobile operating system in Korea Titan.
As Android Authority reported, Samsung now deploys its latest update from the OS version to the entire range of supported handsets, after the Galaxy S24 series obtained the update in April 2025.
The complete list of devices included in this last stage of the long -term deployment of the IU 7 includes:
- Galaxy S23 FE
- Galaxy S22 series
- Galaxy S21 series
- Galaxy Z Plé 4
- Galaxy Z Plé 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
According to the Sambile list of devices supported by Samobile, this means that once the deployment is finished, a user interface 7 will finally be available on all Galaxy S and Galaxy Z phones supported in the United States. Presumably, other regions will soon follow suit.
In particular, the Android Authority report does not mention if this latest version will bring a Galaxy A of Galaxy A Series phones – while the Galaxy A26, the Galaxy A36 and the recently published Galaxy A56 perform all the beaten track, we have not heard as much about previous generations.
Samsung has apparently struggled to remove an IU 7 from the ground. The Android 15 operating system was launched with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in January, although it was officially a software pre-liberation construction.
Here in Techradar, we have brought back a lot on the various updates and rumors surrounding a user interface 7 and its prolonged release thanks to our dedicated coverage of the Samsung Galaxy phones – but now, it seems that an end is in sight.
However, with Google closer to the launch of Android 16, it is worth wondering if this delay will affect the Samsung update calendar in the future.
We recently reported supposedly disclosed images that show a first version of One UI 8 operating on a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, but we do not know when this update could happen.
Let’s not get too much ahead of ourselves, however – it’s a great moment for the owners of Samsung Galaxy, and even if I was not exactly impressed by the deployment of an IU 7, it is good to see Samsung get rid.
Now that the latest Samsung software update is not limited to the best Samsung phones, many other users will have access to its revised user interface, the Now Now Bar functionality and the reworked notification system, among other new features.
