- An bored Samsung user launched a petition to restore Bluetooth in the S pen
- Samsung has deleted connectivity with the Ultra S25, deactivating remote cameras control and gestures
- The petition has so far has more than 3,000 signatures
An annoyed Samsung specialist launched a petition on Change.org to “demand Samsung Mobile to reintroduce [the] Bluetooth S Pen for Galaxy S26 Ultra ”, after Samsung has removed the Bluetooth capabilities of the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra stylus.
Jeff Springer, who owns and directs the specialist site of Samsung News Sammyguru, launched a change.org petition in response to Samsung’s decision to delete the Bluetooth of the S -Ultra S25 pen, which previously allowed a remote control of the user interface and the camera.
The petition has already won some ground, with more than 3,200 signatures at the time of the editorial staff.
In the description of the petition, Springer writes from his embarrassment to Samsung’s decision: “For me, and for many others, this functionality was not only a novelty – it was a functional and important tool that differentiated the galaxy Samsung of other smartphones on the market […] We implore Samsung Mobile to listen to their user base and integrate beneficial comments in their product development process. »»
As we mentioned previously, it seemed that Samsung would change the course on S Pen decision. A footnote in an official Samsung blog suggested that the company would sell the Stié pens in Bluetooth separately, but it turned out to be a mistake.
Petitions Change.org have no legal or official impact on a territory, but can be useful tools to put pressure on organizations and businesses to change course.
Bluetooth s pens – A cause to fight?
A central reason why Bluetooth has been cut off from the Ultra S25 Sinso is, according to Samsung, a lack of popularity with the user base, which suggests that most users are not lacking in functionality.
However, it is undeniably disappointing to see the Samsung phone loss features of Samsung level – as found in our Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Review, it is also the absolute apex of the production powers of Samsung smartphones, so Any bump perceived in this image can look like a real blow. From this point of view, I can really sympathize with Springer and the other signatories of the petition.
However, if the Bluetooth capacity of pen S were really unpopular, then it could be useful to reduce this less used capacity in order to reassign the resources to the new ultra-large camera of 50 megapixel, whose wider user base will be a lot more used.
In all cases, although the lack of pen connectivity can prevent the ultra S25 from the hands of these 3,200 petitioners, it is unlikely that the last premium flagship of Samsung will take its place on our list of the best Samsung phones, the Best camera phones, and the best phones overall.
