- The Samsung Galaxy A26, A36 and A56 should be launched with an IU 7
- Users of the Galaxy S24 and more are still waiting for their update
- One UI 7 obtains its stable release in April of this year
Samsung has revealed three new mid -range telephones, the Galaxy A26, the Galaxy A36 and the Galaxy A56 in late February, and we now know that each model will be shipped with an IU 7 (AKA the latest version of the Samsung mobile operational system).
A user interface 7, based on Android 15, was first made available with the release of the Samsung Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25 Plus and the Galaxy S25 Ultra in February – although in its current state, the software is always technically a pre -liberation construction.
The new models of the AS Compatible Samsung compatible series will be available on March 19 in the United Kingdom, with the Galaxy A26 and the Galaxy A36 available from March 28 in the United States (the Galaxy A56 will be launched in the United States on a date not yet specified later this year). However, as Samsung recently confirmed it, the older Galaxy smartphones – even the old headlights – will not have a user interface 7 before April.
This should sting for customers who have paid up to $ 1,649 / $ 1,549 / $ 2,799 at the Galaxy S24 ultra as recently as February of this year. With this type of price, I am sure that many users would expect Samsung to prioritize the update of their previous flagship devices on the emission of the new software to more concerned with the budget.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 starts at $ 300 / £ 299 / $ 499 at, the Galaxy A36 from $ 400 / £ 399 / $ 549 in and the Galaxy A56 from $ 500 / £ 499 £ / $ 699 at. This year has marked the first time that a phone in the Galaxy A5 series landed in the United States, which is a big problem, because the Galaxy A55 is currently on our list of the best cheap phones in the United Kingdom.
These new mid -range phones are likely to be decently powerful devices for their respective price slices, and as the Phonearena note, the diverse Samsung portfolio generates a wider range of hardware specifications that must be taken into account and tested with any new software.
However, I think that users of the best Samsung phones in the past years will feel somewhat left with the release of these new handsets in the A series.
The wait for a continuous IU 7
The wait for an IU 7 begins to feel long enough. Even compared to the half -cooked launch by Apple of Apple Intelligence and iOS 18 at the end of last year, Samsung has a hatch of this deployment.
Although Samsung’s latest Android wrapper is certainly excellent, with a new elegant look and a very fluid user experience, this does not excuse almost an entire update cycle to publish it – indeed, Android 16 is likely to be released shortly after a user interface 7 goes to a stable version.
You also don’t have to look at yourself online to find dissatisfaction with the Samsung fans community, – Reddit User Healthinfoman theorizes that the update has been “intentionally delayed to promote the [Galaxy] S25 as the only device with a user interface 7. “Other forums and publications are full of frustrated comments.
However, there is an end in sight. As mentioned, an IU 7 should be launched in April – but I fear that this amazing deployment has already overshadowed its possible exit. Let us know what you think of the UI 7 deployment in the comments below.
