Former Pakistani captain Sana Mir should join the winners of the World Cup Mel Jones, Isa Guha, Stacy-Ann King and Julia Price as part of the Star Comment Committee by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the 2025 women’s cricket World Cup.
The programming of comments for the next tournament also features Mithali Raj and Anjum Chopra, providing rich experience and insight to the tournament.
The list also includes eminent voices such as Katey Martin, Natasha Farrant and Kass Naidoo, while adding that other Global Power stars are former winners of the Aaron Finch World Cup, Carlos Brathwaite and Dinesh Karthik, alongside renowned commentators Nasser Hussain, Ian Bishop, Mpumelelo Mbangwa and Russell.
Popular broadcasters Raunak Kapoor and Jatin Sapru are also in place.
Each match of the tournament, from September 30 on five sites in India and Sri Lanka, will be produced to broadcast live on ICC.TV, guaranteeing fans around the world.
The broadcast will offer a 30-minute pre-match show, a detailed analysis during sleeve breaks and post-match combinations, offering an immersive viewing experience.
Advanced technology will also improve diffusion. Hawk-Eye’s intelligent rereading system will feed the decision exam system (DRS) and deliver tactical information via Piero graphics.
WTVision will manage rating graphics, while Cricviz provides advanced data and analyzes.
Quidich Innovation Labs will provide players monitoring solutions, as well as Field 360 °, a dynamic virtual field model that presents real -time evolution positions.
It should be mentioned here that Sana Mir has marked the story in June as the first woman cricket player in Pakistan to be inducted into the temple of the CPI renown.
She was inducted alongside her classmates in 2025, notably Ms. Dhoni in India, Sarah Taylor in Africa, Hashim Amla and Graeme Smith in South Africa, Matthew Hayden in Australia and Daniel Vettori in New Zealand.
