Sarah Ferguson prepares to leave the Royal Lodge with newfound freedom, telling her friends the move is “liberating” despite her financial difficulties.
According to Online speed camerasinsiders have revealed that the former Duchess of York has quietly reconnected with influential contacts from her past.
She has also reached out to senior society figures and wealthy businessmen she met through her charity work as she adjusts to life without her ex-husband Andrew.
“Sarah has reconnected with her international circle – old friends, socialites and wealthy businessmen she has known for years,” they said.
The source added: “She’s laughing about finding her own Richard Gere figurine to save her, but underneath she’s panicking. She’s relied on Andrew for support for so long, and now that cushion is gone.”
“She tells people it’s like being freed from the royal leash, but she knows financial reality has hit hard,” said another.
“What she wants now is someone who can provide her with security and keep her in the comfort that she has always enjoyed.”
Another palace insider revealed Fergis wouldn’t go after “broke aristocrats” as partners. “She’s done with penniless princes,” one joked.
“Age and appearance are no longer factors for her, it’s all about financial stability. This time she’s not chasing love, she’s looking for a safety net.
“She’s in total survival mode right now – and if that means attracting a wealthy benefactor, so be it. She’s willing to accept any rich man’s move.
“She has no intention of trading her life of champagne for tap water.”
