Sarah Ferguson is told her way out of royal disgrace is to keep a low profile.
The former Duchess of York, who has been banned from royal life and privileges, is being asked to move abroad.
A royal expert told the Daily Express: “If disgraced, it may be wise to go into exile. Sarah Ferguson, who was banned from the disgraced royal family, has reportedly decided to stay with her daughter Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank at their home in Portugal.”
“She was a disaster as a working royal; her debts and the scandals surrounding her became a cause celebre, but she had an ability to bounce back, which many admired.”
But he added: “She could well be embroiled in a new scandal when the Epstein files are finally made public.
“The Palace has rightly made it clear that someone so notorious for her brazen and venal behavior is now banned. The charities she was attached to have shunned her. She would no doubt be a useful witness for the FBI, recounting what she knew about Epstein’s accomplices,” he added.
“Andrew is embroiled in more scandals as more compromising emails emerge, moving abroad is only reasonable for her. Many are hoping she doesn’t return!” he noted.
