The former Duchess of York and the mother of Princess Eugénie and Princess Beatrice have just given the raw and uncomfortable truth on her cancer.
Everything was shared in his article on Times, for the Trust Cancer Teenage campaign which works under the hashtag, #andyoungpeople.
“I was 63 years old when I received a cancer diagnosis for the first time and cancer at any age is traumatic,” she said.
“But as an adult, we have maturity and life experience to help us defend ourselves and face the challenges.”
At the same time, “we can ask for help if we need it and especially our voices are, unfortunately, often taken more seriously.”
But “a group that I think is always neglected by those who develop health plans and policies are adolescents and young people,” she admitted while calling her own cancer a “death sentence” or a “bomb” while waiting to leave.
The boss of the Trust Cancer Teenage also added towards the end, how adolescents are subject to treatment measures that are not adapted to their age groups. Often, even the beds are not where they can integrate easily and have called on adolescents to add to the national plan on cancer of England via his campaign which acts as an “open letter” in Wes Stting, the Secretary of Health.
