Although reports suggest they might end up splitting, there are rumors that Prince Andrew requested both Adelaide Cottage and Frogmore Cottage, as separate living quarters for the two.
However, according to sources close to the former Duke and Duchess, this is a “misrepresentation of the truth” as the offer has actually been “on the table for months.”
“It was an option proposed by the “other camp” and very early [in negotiations].”
But the insider made one thing clear: “I don’t know if that’s still on the table. But the suggestion that they each demanded new housing is a misrepresentation of the truth.”

For those who don’t know, breaking Prince Andrew’s lease on Royal Lodge, where he has lived alongside Fergie since their marriage, would net him hundreds of thousands of dollars.
