Islamabad:
Saudi Arabia has renewed an oil supply installation for Pakistan worth $ 100 million per month in delayed payment for another year under the Saudi development fund, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Tuesday in the federal office.
President of the meeting, Shehbaz also dilated its talks with a delegation from the World Bank and the Director General of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which congratulated the macroeconomic stability of Pakistan following the government’s reform agenda.
The Prime Minister informed the meeting of the cabinet of a letter which was sent to him by the Saudi crown prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed Bin Salman. He added that he was “deeply grateful to the Saudi leaders” for having been standing in Pakistan “in each difficult time”.
Shehbaz said that the Saudi Crown Prince, in his letter, informed him of the renewal of the monthly offer of $ 100 million for another year by the Saudi development fund based on a delayed payment for products oilmen for Pakistan.
“We are deeply grateful to the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman and Saudi leaders,” said the Prime Minister. “Saudi Arabia has always held with Pakistan in difficult times,” he added.
In his opening remarks, Shehbaz said that the complete elimination of terrorism was the mission of his government, stressing that the development and prosperity of Pakistan was linked to him. In this regard, he congratulated the sacrifices rendered by the Armed Forces of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
He ordered the Ministry of Commerce and other related divisions to make total efforts to take bilateral trade between Pakistan and Turkiye at $ 5 billion in light of the resolution expressed during the recently finished visit to the President of the Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister ordered that the implementation of the E Bureau E in all the ministries and federal departments will be completed by March 20. He also ordered that the entire system for providing services in Pakistani missions abroad is digitized to facilitate foreign Pakistanis.
The firm has been informed that the use of office E reached 98% in all divisions of the federal government with 100% implementation in 39 divisions. In addition, 176 institutions had also successfully adopted the system.

On the directives of the High Court of Islamabad and on the recommendation of the Ministry of Health, the meeting has sent a request for revision for the registration of Watim Medical College, Rawalpindi, Pakistan Medical and Detal Council (PMDC) for new legal proceedings.
On the recommendation of the Ministry of Human Rights, the Cabinet sent six candidates to the Post of the Capital of Islamabad (ICT) to the National Commission for Human Rights to the Prime Minister and to the head of the opposition to Parliament.
The cabinet approved the training of a commission of inquiry to investigate irregularities in the elections to the director director of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), as recommended by the Ministry of Sciences and Technology.
The meeting approved the changes in the rules of the internal income court (appointment, service conditions and conditions), 2024. legislative during their meetings earlier this month.
The cabinet approved the appointment of Kamran Jahangir as director general of the National Book Foundation and the appointment of Dr. Shahid Aslam Mirza as Director General of Korangi Fisheries Harbor Authority.
PM inaugurates Erdogan Exchange
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated on Tuesday the Recep Tayyip Erdogan interchange near sectors F-8 and F-9, congratulating the efforts of the Minister of the Interior Mohin Naqvi and all his team for finishing the project in the record of 84 days.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister declared that he had advised the Minister of the Interior to develop plans of future projects aimed at further embellishing the federal capital and improving the life of the people, residing in the city and its surroundings.
During the recent visit to Erdogan in Pakistan, Shehbaz had appointed the newly built F8 and F9 exchange after the Turkish president. “I will send the photos and details of the inauguration ceremony … to the Turkish president to make him realize that he is our friend and close brother,” he said.
On this occasion, Naqvi said that the project had been built in 84 days, against the scheduled six -month period. He announced that a large -scale planting campaign would be launched next month on Margalla Hills and throughout the city to combat air pollution and reduce smog.
The exchange project will benefit residents heading to the G-8 sector, the G-9, the Highway cashmere and the Centaurus Mall. The 1.3 -kilometer long underground passage included in the project was completed in 42 days, and a 1.1 kilometer long overflight was also built.
