Saudi Arabia sets new visiting hours for Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH)

Saudi authorities have announced new times and procedures for visiting the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Rosa (tomb) at Al Masjid-e-Nabawi and offering nawafil (voluntary prayers) at Riazul Jannah, with separate hours for men and women and regulated access via the Nusuk platform.

The Presidency of Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques said permits must be obtained through Nusuk, with reservation usually allowed once every 365 days or through the “Instant Track” option when worshipers are near the Prophet Muhammad Mosque.

Entrance to the Noble Roza-e-Rasool is through the southern courtyards, in front of Makkah Gate 37, while elderly visitors are allowed entry using a manual wheelchair.

For men, on normal days, the visiting time will be from 2:00 a.m. until Fajr prayer and again from 11:20 a.m. until Isha prayer.

On Friday, male visitors will have three time slots: from 2 a.m. until Fajr, from 9:20 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. and after Jummah prayer until Isha, according to the Presidency of Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.

For women, on usual days, the visiting time will be after Fajr until 11:00 a.m. and after Isha until 2:00 a.m.

On Friday, women will be able to perform the ziyarah (visit) after Fajr prayers until 9:00 a.m., in addition to the usual post-Isha night time slot until 2:00 a.m., Saudi authorities said.
