The Supreme Court has published a format for murder and other criminal affairs. Under the new requirement, all the basic details of the case must be provided on a page form. The parties are now required to submit this information form with the case.
The Proforma will include the FIR number, the police station, the results of the post-mortem, the accused’s names and ages and the arrest dates. He will also record the court of first instance and the verdicts of the high court, as well as the day and time of the post-mortem.
In addition, the medical-legal results must be mentioned on the form. The judges will be able to access all the essential details of the case from this document on a single page.
