Islamabad:
The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected an agreement between the heirs and the accused via the video link in a murder case.
A bench of three members led by judge Hassan Azhar Rizvi heard the question of consent between the accused and the heirs in a murder case.
During the hearing, Judge Rizvi pointed out that he could not be confirmed by the video link, if the heirs of the deceased entered pressure or their own free will.
Judge Naeem Akhtar Afghan pointed out that the relatives of the deceased only appear before the sessions court in person and confirm consent, there is no consent.
