President Donald Trump will make his third appearance during a sporting event in New York this week when he attended the Ryder Cup with Black Bethpage on Friday.
He attended the US Open male final on September 7, and four days later, he won a New York Yankees match against Strait Tigers at the 24th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
The golf fanatic will see Team USA and Team Europe compete in the People’s Country Club in the first Ryder Cup in the New York metropolitan region, and the Golfer No. 1 World Scottie Scheffler is excited about this.

“To have the president here, it was a few weeks difficult for our country with some of the things that happen, and to have our president here and for us to represent the United States of America, although in a golf tournament, is extremely important for us, and we are delighted to be on the floor at home with the home crowd, and we are ready to start this tournament,” said Scheffler to Bethpage on Tuesday.
Scheffler also revealed that he had spoken with Trump after some of his big victories on the course, praising him like the one who “loves golf” and “treats people with the greatest respect”.
“I receive a call or SMS of him sometimes after victories. He loves golf game, and he is one of those guys when you are around him, he does such a good job, like feeding confidence in everyone around him,” said Scheffler.
“It was one of the things that I have noticed a lot with the short time that I spent with him, is that he treats everyone in the same way and treats people with the greatest respect. Whether you are the person who serves lunch or the shopping cart on the golf course or the guy who is the president of the club in which we are, he treats everyone as if they were the biggest person.”

The captain of the USA Keegan Bradley team added: “I am deeply honored that the President of the United States comes to support our team at the Ryder Cup. I think that each time you can be with a current president is a fairly phenomenal thing, but when you represent your country in a place like Bethpage Black in New York, be the president to support you.
He also announced some news of the president’s plans in the process.
“I really look forward to what this first T-shirt will look like with the President on the TEE. I think this first Bethpage TEE will be a sporting event to remember in any sport, then add the President of the United States, I really think that it will be something that everyone will remember eternally.”

Trump visited his dural course in Miami the day before a golf event liv earlier this year and played in a Liv Golf Pro-Am at his journey in Washington, DC, in 2023. However, he did not attend a professional event as a fan since August 2023, when Liv went to his bed of bed beds.
Trump attended the 2017 Presidents Cup closing ceremony in Jersey City, New Jersey, where the United States team beat Team International.
