Scottie Scheffler added another trophy to his PGA Tour case on Sunday, and he secured it in an epic way with an incredible chip on hole 17.

Caves Valley Golf Club was the site of this Scheffler masterpiece, where he passed the Scottish Golfer Robert Macintyre to win the BMW championship after pulling 3 under Sunday to win a victory two shots at 15 under the tournament.

Scheffler’s second victory for his career would not have been possible without his mind -boggling chip just below the 17th Green.

It was not the best lie in the rough thickness on the hole in 3, but Scheffler’s contact was perfect while the ball was flying on the green and began to sink towards the hole. As the rhythm of the ball continued, the line was perfect when it continued to follow the cup.

Then, while he went to steam, he sank and the crowd was unleashed while Scheffler obtained Birdie in the most unconventional way. And in doing so, he sealed the victory over Macintyre, who was visibly amazed by what he saw.

“A part of me wanted to go pin, and I retired there on the left side,” said Scheffler about his chip-in on the 17th, by Yahoo Sports. “I knew that by not going to be a bad score on this hole today. Whenever you hung a chip like that, it’s pretty nice. He looked good when he landed, looked good when he was driving, and it was nice to see this one.”

Macintyre was the leading leader on Sunday, but he did not help his cause by going 3 years in his first five holes. Meanwhile, Scheffler took the lead on the seventh green when he sorted out his third afternoon hole.

Scheffler knew that by the 18 -year -old winner, and that was exactly what happened because he celebrated another victory on the PGA Tour.

This victory in the Fedex Cup qualifiers was his fifth this season, marking his second consecutive year PGA Tour of at least five victories. Only Tiger Woods has been able to do so in the past 40 years.

The 2025 Scheffler season included two other major titles because he won the British Open and the PGA championship before that. With two Green Masters jackets, Scheffler only needs the US Open trophy to finish the big career home, that only six other golfers have been able to fulfill their careers. Rory McILroy finished his famous in Augusta National in April.
