One of the many prosecution against sexual assault against Sean Diddy Combs has been rejected.
A New York judge rejected the case due to the anonity of the accuser, who is called in the trial under the name of John Doe.
“The” very severity of the accusations “combined with” no proof of specific and concrete damage … undermines his procedural request in an anonymous manner, “said the court after lawyer Tony Buzbee filed a request so that the DOE occurs anonymously.
The Court ordered Doe to file a complaint under its name by March 20 and then rejected the case on March 31 when the DOE decided not to continue the case.
“There are a lot of fear among these complainants. These are difficult cases and they are repeatedly re-transuming for those who pursue them. This woman has chosen not to proceed and to submit to the media circus and the perceived danger that she felt. We must respect this,” said Buzbee in a statement to a statement Variety.
The prosecution was initially deposited in October of last year, saying that Combs had tried to sexually assault the woman at a New York party in 1995 and struck her when she refused her advances.
Combs is currently behind bars on provision on federal accusations of sex, racketeering and transport for prostitution. The trial is due on May 5.
The Disgrace music magnate also has several civil proceedings against him, alleging sexual assaults towards several women and men.
