MIRANSHAH:
The South Waziristan district police on Thursday launched a massive search operation to trace four policemen, who were kidnapped by unidentified attackers from a checkpoint in Umar Raghzai area of Sararogha tehsil.
Although district police officer Arshad Khan did not respond to reporters’ call for details of the incident, locals said large contingents of police and FC paramilitary personnel were arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area as part of the operation to recover the kidnapped people.
Sources said that unidentified persons attacked the police station in South Waziristan and kidnapped three policemen.
