At least 14 activists have been affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij, an identified group as an Indian indicator, were killed in intellect-based operations in northern Waziristan between June 2 and 3, it appeared on Wednesday.
According to a press release published by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces carried out operations in the Dhatta Khel region in northern Waziristan. “After a fierce shooting exchange, 14 activists affiliated with the group sponsored by India were neutralized.”
Disinfection operations are underway in the region to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining threat, the army media wing said.
“The armed forces of Pakistan remain resolved in their mission to eradicate terrorism sponsored by India and restore sustainable peace across the country,” added the press release.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their “professional excellence” in the northern Waziristan operation, saying that such efforts were essential to eliminate the threat posed by what he called the enemies of humanity.
“We are going to crush the harmful creations of these terrorists,” said Shehbaz in a statement published by his office. “With the professional capacity of our security forces, we will uproot once and for all the monster of terrorism.”
A similar operation was carried out earlier this week, according to which seven terrorists who were affiliated to the group supported by India Fitna al-Hinstan were killed in two separate operations in Balutchistan on June 2, 2025.

Earlier, the federal government had officially appointed all terrorist groups operating in Balutchistan as ‘Fitna al Hindustan‘Accusing India of sponsoring a war by proxy through these outfits.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of the Interior, this decision stems from “the involvement of certain organizations and groups in terrorist activities in Balutchistan, which are prejudicial to Islamic faith, the sovereignty of Pakistan and its customary traditions”.
The notification also indicated that the new designation aimed to reflect “the true nature and the ideology” of these groups and their “harmful conceptions” sponsored by India.
“All government entities are responsible for immediately starting the above practice,” said the notification, highlighting a concerted effort to reframe the story on insurgent violence in the province.
The announcement occurred after Islamabad accused India of having increased indirect assault after what he described as his defeat in a recent security operation nicknamed “Marka-e-haq“”.
