Security forces eliminate 158 KP terrorists in a month

The security forces killed 158 terrorists in 73 intelligence operations (IBOS) through KHYBER-PAKHTUNKHWA (KP) during the month

In March, according to a report published by the security forces.

The report revealed that several victims have been imposed in various districts.

At least 40 outlaws were killed in northern Waziristan, 25 in Dera Ismael Khan, 20 in Mohmand, 18 each in Mardan and Bannu, 12 in southern Waziristan, 6 in Bajour, 7 in Lukki Marwat, 4 in Khyber, two each in Karak and in Tank and one in Peshawar, Hangu, Swat and Charsada.

During the 73 IBOs in 15 KP districts, the security forces recovered a large cache of arms and explosive equipment, including 123 SMG, 53 pistols, 34 guns, 29 rocket launchers, 9 machine guns and 186 hand grenades.

Meanwhile, up to 152 security staff and citizens were martyred, while 302 were injured in KP in the first three months of the current year.

According to a quarterly report published by KP police, among the martyrs, 45 ordinary citizens, 37 police officers and 34 FC staff.

The greatest number of victims – 124 – took place in Bannu, followed by 42 in Khyber and 41 in northern Waziristan.
