Security forces eliminate four Indian-sponsored terrorists in Kalat: ISPR

Operation carried out after credible information indicating the presence of terrorists affiliated with the proxy group “Fitna al-Hindustan”

On January 12, security forces killed four Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence operation in Kalat district of Balochistan, army media said on Monday. The operation was carried out following credible reports of the presence of terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group “Fitna al-Hindustan”.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists were neutralized after an intense exchange of fire, while arms and ammunition were recovered from the scene. The eliminated terrorists had been involved in multiple acts of terrorism in the region, the statement added.

The ISPR further said that disinfection operations were underway to ensure that no more Indian-sponsored terrorists remained in the region.

The Army’s media wing stressed that the relentless anti-terrorism campaign, carried out under the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ vision and approved by the Supreme Federal Committee on National Action Plan, would continue in full swing.
