Two soldiers, including one major, were martyred while 11 terrorists sponsored by India were killed during an intelligence -based operation in the Sararogha region of southern Waziristan on Tuesday, the army media wing reported.
According to inter-service public relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out following confirmed reports on the presence of Khwarij belonging to Indian attorney, Fitna Al Khwarij.
The troops actually hired the terrorist hiding place, causing the murder of eleven terrorists and injuries to seven other people, according to the press release.

During the intense fire exchange, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, 37, a resident of Chakwal, and launches Naik Jibran Ullah, 27, from Bannu, kissed martyrdom. Major Moiz directed the operation and had acquired a reputation for his courage in the operations to combat previous terrorism, said the ISPR.
He added that a disinfection operation is underway in the region to eliminate remaining threats.
The army has reiterated its commitment to eliminate the country’s terrorism, claiming: “such sacrifices from our courageous men only strengthen our determination to eliminate the threat of terrorism, in particular those supported from abroad.”
