PM pays tribute to security forces for successful operation against terrorists, says entire nation stands with forces
Security forces killed four terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan during an intelligence operation in Kalat district of Balochistan, the army’s media wing said in a statement.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out on Saturday following reports of terrorists linked to Fitna al Hindustan in the area.
“During the operation, our troops effectively attacked the position of the terrorists. After an intense exchange of fire, four Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralized,” the ISPR said.
The Army added that arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the slain terrorists, who were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region. Disinfection operations were continuing to ensure that no more Indian-sponsored terrorists remained in the vicinity.
The ISPR said the anti-terrorism campaign would continue in full swing under the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ vision, as approved by the Supreme Federal Committee under the National Action Plan, to eliminate the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism in the country.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to security forces for the successful operation against terrorists affiliated with Fitna al Hindustan in Kalat.
Welcoming the killing of four terrorists, the Prime Minister said security forces were achieving major successes in the fight against terrorism. “The entire nation stands with the Pakistani armed forces in this war against terrorism,” he said, adding that the country would be rid of all forms of terrorism.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also praised the security forces for the intelligence operation carried out in Kalat. “Security forces are determined to eliminate Fitna al Khawarij in Balochistan,” he said, adding that their courageous personnel brought four terrorists to an exemplary end.
He said the timely and effective action of security forces in Kalat was commendable and termed their role in ensuring peace and stability in Balochistan as unforgettable.
