The security forces killed three activists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Datta Khel region in northern Waziristan, according to a press release from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday. The operation, carried out on the night of February 6 to 7, followed intelligence reports indicating the presence of activists in the region.
The army media wing said that during the operation, the troops managed to target the location of the activists, leading to the elimination of three terrorists. Activists would have tried to flee when he was disguised in burqas.
