Sources of security have categorically rejected Indian media reports claiming that a F-16 fighter airplane from Pakistan F-16 has been shot, calling history “a blatant lie and false news”.
According to sources, India has become more and more disoriented following the failure of its recent incursions of HAROP drones. They claim that the repeated setbacks left Indian decision -makers “paralyzed and confused”.
“In a state of panic”, according to sources, “India is now trying to justify a potential future assault against Pakistan by making stories of attacks to Rajasthan, Pathankot and Kashmir occupied by India.”
The armed forces of Pakistan, they say, are fully ready to counter hostile conceptions and remain vigilant against “the harmful intentions of India”.
Observers note a striking resemblance between the current disinformation campaign and the disputed account of India after the 2019 aerial skirmish during operation Swift Retor.
At the time, Pakistan killed two Indian hunting planes in response to Indian air strikes in Balakot. India, however, said that one of his pilots, the wings commander, Abhinandan Varthaman – who was captured after ejected from his Mig -21, had managed to shoot down a Pakistani F -16 before his own plane was brought back.
Pakistan denied the complaint F-16. Later that year, the magazine on foreign policy cited US defense officials who had explained all the Pakistani F-16s and found it no-against the affirmation of India.
Following the report, the military spokesman of the time said: “India’s statements on the attack and its consequences are false. It is time for India to tell the truth about the loss of its second draft shot down by Pakistan. ”
Despite the lack of independent verification, the president of India, Ram Nath Kovind, awarded to the Commander of the Abhinandan wing the Vir Chakra – the third higher military honor in wartime – for having “Downing” an F -16 Pakistani.
Pakistan maintains its position according to which two Indian jets were slaughtered in 2019 and that no PAF F-16 was lost in the exchange.
