ISLAMABAD:
The federal government has decided to convene sessions of the National Assembly and Senate next week, and key bills are expected to be tabled as part of a coordinated parliamentary initiative, sources said on Friday.
Both houses of Parliament are scheduled to meet on November 27, with officials considering the possibility of convening the two sessions simultaneously to streamline the legislative agenda.
Sources said the upcoming sessions of the National Assembly and Senate will focus on “important legislation”.
