Friday, senior military officials of Bangladesh and the Maldives called the chief of staff of the army (COAS), Syed Asim Munir and discussed the regional security environment in force, and the avenues for cooperation Increased in defense and security, inter-service public relations (ISPR) dit.

Recognizing the evolution of the security landscape, the two military leaders have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen and revitalize bilateral links, with a view to improving collaboration in areas of mutual interest. During a separate meeting, the ISPR said, Admiral Hassan also congratulated the pivotal role of Pakistan in the promotion of peace and stability in the region. He appreciated the participation of the next multinational maritime exercise Aman 2025 and the conduct of the Aman dialogue.
