The World Heavyweight Championship was canceled on Monday after WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Seth Rollins was injured in Australia.
Rollins prevailed in a champion vs. champion clash for the Crown Jewel Championship against Cody Rhodes at the Crown Jewel premium live event. On “Monday Night Raw” after the event, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed launched an attack on Rollins.

Paul Heyman suggested Rollins was suffering from a shoulder injury. Rollins’ return timetable was unclear, but multiple reports indicated he could be back by the time WrestleMania 42 season rolls around next year. He wasn’t on “Monday Night Raw” to drop the title. Breakker handed him the strap.
Pearce announced that a battle royal would take place later that night. Pearce said Vision members Breakker and Reed would not be allowed to participate in the match. The winner would face CM Punk for the vacant championship on Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1. Punk won a triple threat match against LA Knight and Jey Uso to earn a title shot last week.

Uso and Knight were among those who participated in the battle royal and they fought until the end.
While Knight was tangled with Uso near the ropes on the announcer’s side, Jey’s brother Jimmy came out to keep him in the match. Later, Jimmy Uso tangled with Knight and where Jimmy came to help his brother, Jey saw an opportunity.
Jey Uso eliminated his brother and Knight, then avoided getting eliminated by Dominik Mysterio. He closed the door on Mysterio’s title hopes and was victorious, much to the dismay of his twin brother.
It will be Punk and Uso who face off for the vacant championship, but questions loom over the Usos’ relationship and whether The Vision will be lurking in the competitors’ rearview mirrors in the days ahead ahead of Saturday night’s main event.
