Terrorists were involved in multiple attacks on security forces and LEAs and targeted civilians, army says
Security forces killed seven terrorists linked to the India-backed Fitna al-Khawarij group in two separate battles in North Waziristan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa district, army media said on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence operation was carried out in Mir Ali area on December 1 after reports of the presence of Khawarij.
“During the operation, our own troops actually engaged the Khawarij site and after an intense exchange of fire, six Khawarij were sent to hell,” the statement said.
A second intelligence-based operation was carried out in Spinwam area, where “another Khawarji was effectively neutralized by security forces”, the ISPR added.

He added that the ongoing anti-terrorism campaign under the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ vision – approved by the Supreme Federal Committee on National Action Plan – would continue in full swing to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan.
