- The high -end Radeon AI Pro R9700 cards of five major brands now confirmed
- The products are designed for professional AI, rendering, simulation and multi-GPU use
- Other MSI, XFX, Biostar, Acer and others are expected soon soon
The Radeon AI Pro R9700, the fastest GPU of AMD to date, is put up for sale, with Asus, Asrock, Sapphire, PowerColor and Gigabytet revealing all their versions.
First of all on Computex 2025, the Pro R9700 is built on the RDNA 4 architecture and powered by the Navi 48 chip.
It has 32 GB of GDDR6 memory, which is double the quantity found in the RX RX 9070 XT focused on the players who use the same nucleus, as well as 128 ACA ACCA and 4096 flow processors.
Built for professionals
The GPU is adapted to professional workloads, including AI training, scientific modeling and advanced rendering.
Asus’ version, the Turbo Radeon AI Pro R9700, has a 12V – 2×6 supply connector, a molded metal shroud and a phase thermal interface material. This configuration helps manage power and thermal load for continuous use.
The design of the card focuses on reliability, which is crucial for corporate systems which must run in full charge for long periods.
The Gigabyte model also has an industrial arrangement, cooling all the culbutin, a composite metal thermal paste and a blowing turbo fan.
The cooling design of this card promotes air flow in work dense versions, where several cards are installed side by side.
The taking of Sapphire is quite close to the reference of AMD, offering the same performance and arrangement with four DisplayPort 2.1A outputs.
PowerColor also sticks to the design of the blower and confirmed the 300W TDP of the card, a game clock of 2350 MHz and increase the clock up to 2920 MHz.
The version of Asrock, the R9700 designer, offers metal -shaped cooling and the steam chamber for sustainability and thermal control, while using the same 12V connector to 2×6 as ASUS, the company originally.
Although the price varies slightly according to the seller, most cards should cost about $ 1,200.
AI Pro R9700 supports multi-GPU configurations, thanks to its design of double plant blowers and its PCIe 5.0 connectivity, which helps provide faster inter-card communication.
Cards from other manufacturers, including MSI, XFX, Biostar, Acer and Yeston should appear soon.
