Sha’Carri’s boyfriend Richardson defends her for an alleged assault against him

Olympic gold medalist Sha’Carri Richardson was arrested last weekend for allegedly assaulted his boyfriend, his compatriot Sprinter Christian Coleman.

The couple was at Seattle Tacoma Airport On Sunday, when an airport officer was informed by a supervisor of the transport security administration of a disturbance between Richardson and Coleman, according to the police report, via the Associated Press.

Richardson would have grabbed Coleman’s backpack, pulled him, pushed Coleman into a wall and threw him with headphones. The incident occurred a few days before the United States athletics championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Coleman refused to be a victim in the case, said a police report, and he clearly said he wanted to move from the “zero situation”.

In fact, Coleman thought that the arrest was too far.

“I don’t have the impression that she should have been stopped. I mean people have discussions and emotions and things like that. She has things she needs to work for herself, of course. I too, you too. But I am the type of guy this weekend during the Grace event.

Richardson won the 100 at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, and finished with the silver medal at the Paris Games event last summer. She also helped take the 4×100 relay to an Olympic gold.

The 25 -year -old man was going to compete in Tokyo four years ago, but he was tested positive for cannabis. She accepted a one-month suspension by the Anti-Doping Agency in the United States, which makes her unacceptable at 100 meters. It was also not selected for the 4×100 relay team, delaying its Olympic beginnings to Paris.

Coleman and Richardson won gold at the world championships in 2023 for the 4×100 meters. Coleman also won the event in 2019 as well as the 100 meters.
