Karachi:
A police officer by the name of Taqdeer Azam Afridi, who was appointed in the case of the murder of the eminent lawyer Khawaja Shamsul Islam Advocate, published a video declaration affirming his innocence and qualified the case to melt and the result of a personal enmity.
Afridi alleys that video surveillance images show another individual who fills, which he identifies as the real culprit. He claims that the FIR appoints seven members of his family, all of whom he insists are innocent.
In his declaration, he also revealed that the famous cricket player Shahid Afridi had tried to mediate between Islam and Imran Afridi, leading to a regulation on March 20, 2025. By virtue of this agreement, Islam agreed to accept blood money (Diyat) and to withdraw a case filed by the father of Imran Afridi. Despite this, Afridi alleys that Islam has continued to pursue legal action against his family.
