Shama claims a role in Shehbaz’s UN team

While the controversy on his alleged inclusion in the Pakistani delegation of the United Nations deepens, the columnist and activist of the social media, Shama Junejo, said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had officially included as an advisor.

In an article on X, Junejo said that she has been working for the Prime Minister for “the last few months”.

“My memories, my advice and my points during the Pakistani-Indian escalation are all part of the file and preserve,” she wrote, saying that the Prime Minister had responsible for “writing the United Nations speech”.

She said that the Prime Minister himself had included her in the United Nations delegation as an advisor and that she had received a security allowance. “I worked with his team day and night. I traveled with him, I stayed with his team in the same hotel and I was also one of his important meetings on the sidelines (from the Unga session), like the one with Bill Gates.”

She added to another UNGA climate conference, she was sitting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar directly behind the Prime Minister. “After the climate session, the protocol team escorted me to the AI session, where I sat behind ash alongside a man whom I identified as bilal,” she wrote.

Junejo shared photos with the Minister of Defense Khawaja Asif and the CEO of Pakistan Crypto Council Bilal Bin Saqib, as well as an image of his UN card. She said that at the AI conference, Bilal had written a new speech. “We took tea together thereafter. We sat together for 40 minutes while waiting for the car, and returned to the hotel together in the same car. Khawaja Asif Sahib sat with me on the rear seat of the car.”

Junejo also said that she was also present when the Prime Minister gave his speech to the UN. “There, Khawaja Asif was seated in front of me, and we all applauded for the Prime Minister.” She said that the “historic speech of the Prime Minister was not only written by her, but it was teamwork”.
