Oakmont Country Club takes the souls of some of the best in the game.
Before US Open of this weekend, the conditions of the course – notably the incredibly thick rough – became viral.
From the jump, Shane Lowry had trouble in the golf course in western Pennsylvania. He pulled nine out of 79 in his first round and followed with a 78 Friday, missing the cup.

But during his second round, he let his real feelings known about the course.
Friday, while at 13 years old for the fourth tournament by five, Lowry missed a short putt for the peer, liping the right edge. He then let out the anger.
“F-K this place,” he said.
It was not the only time Lowry was obviously upset on the course this weekend.

During his first round, after failing to take the golf ball out of La Rugueuse, the Irish Golfer ended up eliminating his frustrations on a microphone. The piece of audio equipment fell on the ground after Lowry overturned it.
Some have raised concerns about the difficulties that the golf course presents for competitors. Rory McILroy, who won the master In April, said the course “was impossible”.
