The fever colleagues Guards Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald were each was important in a match with the Phoenix Mercury last month. Colson underwent a torn ACL, while McDonald received a broken foot diagnosis.
Cunningham suffered an injury to the MCL at the end of the season on August 27.
The fever will meet the AS of Las Vegas in the semi-finals. Match 1 presents itself on Sunday.
