- Shark’s facial kit has FacialPro Glow and Depuffi’s house gadgets
- FacialPro Glow works with formulas to hydrate and vacuum impurities
- DEPUFFI has a plate which becomes very cold or very hot, to do firmly and appease
Shark has just launched a new kit that allows you to make your own luxurious face at home. It is not only lotions and potions (although there are two specially developed formulas that are part of the offer): it includes two unusual gadgets designed to help purify, sculpt, firmly and generally let you look like the most radiant version of yourself. These are the facialpro Glow and DEPUFFI sharks.
This brand is perhaps the best known for making some of the best vacuum vacancies on the market, but it is also increasingly elaborate a name in the beauty space.
The flexestyle shark is a popular alternative Dyson Airwrap, and the Cryoglow Shark luminotherapy mask has caused a sensation since its launch at the end of last year.
I had the chance to test the new facial kit in Shark’s Shark’s laboratories a few months ago, and as a person who is not very interested in skin care, I approached the experience with a good amount of skepticism. In the end, I was not fully sold; I had come across the heels of the Defuffi tool specifically. If I can overcome its stupid name, I will first be online to take one when it was launched as an autonomous gadget.
But I go forward, however. How does Shark ‘home facial kit work? The entire process lasts about 10 minutes. You start by preparing your skin by applying the “exfoliating gel derm detox aha + bha” to loosen the dead cells of the skin. Then you deploy the Glow FacialPro tool. This has clean and dirty liquid tanks and a selection of nozzles.
You pass the nozzle on your face in adjustment patterns, and it spray everything in the clean tank (water to start, then ‘Hydro infuse Bha Hydrator’ for the second round) while sucking your skin to clean it.
Once this is over, Shark invites you to open the dirty water tank and “decode your grime”. The water of my tank was indeed quite cloudy, but I do not know how dirt, oil and dead skin that facial glow had extracted from me, and how much a product was.
I remember expect / want a little more punch of this gadget. The aspiration is naturally quite soft, and that, combined with the fact that the nozzle is rather small, meant that it did not look like the most complete cleanliness. It was perhaps just the fact that the center of London was warmer than the sun the day I visited, and I felt particularly in sweat and disgusting before directing myself, but I had the impression that I could have done with something more vigorous.
I was much more impressed by the depffi, which can be used at the beginning or at the end of the process. This gadget is inspired by Gua Sha – The traditional Chinese skin scraping technique with a frank object to encourage traffic. Here, the process is supercharged with the addition of hot and cold therapy. Essentially, the depffi has a plate that can become warm or extremely cold in a few seconds.
Apparently, the combination of scratching and extreme temperatures will help you relax, improve the appearance of your face and encourage additional absorption of products from previous steps. More specifically, the cold parameters are to be exceeded, defined and helping you to appear more awake, while the hot parameters increase traffic and help you relax.
All I know is that it was great. The tool can go from hot to ultra-tightly cold, the temperatures reached are extremely extreme without being unpleasant (you can choose from three hot parameters and three cold parameters), and it is incredibly soothing to use.
The depffi is currently only sold in the entire kit, but it must join the range of sharks as an autonomous product on a later date. If you are wondering, the name follows an agreement used by Shark’s kitchen arm, Ninja, which is known for things like the Ninja Crisi Air Fryer and the Slushi Ninja drinks machine. Most people do not know that Shark and Ninja are the same brand, however, so it seems particularly incongruous.
Shark FacialPro Glow has a list price of $ 399.99 / £ 299.99 for the basic kit. It is available to buy now directly at Shark UK, and “arrives” in Shark Us soon.
