Sam Darnold comes out of his best year in the NFL of a Mile, but a legend from Seattle Seahawks is convinced that he can exceed him in 2025.
Darnold, who launched for 4,319 yards and 35 affected for a team of 14-3 from the Vikings du Minnesota last season, has to prove himself with a different team this season after joining the Seahawks in the Free Agency.
The expectations remain high for Darnold, but Shaun Alexander, the legendary Seahawks who run back which won the Ligue MVP in 2005, thinks that Darnold will check all the boxes this season.

“I think it will be better this year than last year with us, and I think they obtained the offensive coordinator for him,” said Alexander to PK Press Club Digital after work with “Salute To Service Boot Camp” of the USAA “on Monday.” I think the system suits him. They look great. “
Darnold finds Klint Kubiak, who was offensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints last season. They were together in 2023 with the 49ers of San Francisco, where Kubiak was passing game coordinator and Darnold supported Brock Purdy after a failed mandate with the Panthers of Caroline.

This is a new offense to all aspects for Seahawks, including the wide receiver with DK Metcalf sent to Pittsburgh Steelers in a off -season business. Metcalf was a constant in the game of passes for Seattle, but with the climb of Jaxon Smith-Night last season, they evolved and brought Cooper Kupp, a movement that Alexander does not disturb him.
Combine the receiving weapons with the dynamic duo of Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet in the rear field, and Alexander became daring with his prediction for Seahawks.

“I still think it’s Seahawks 17-0,” said Alexander, laughing.
In a realistic way, Alexander thinks that this is an eliminatory team. They missed him at 10-7 last year, but Alexander made them pass at that time.
“I think they will be 11-6,” he said. “I think they will beat the right teams and shock someone. I know it’s going to be very difficult to beat them at home. So you get these assimilated things, they will be a good team.
“Kenneth and Charbonnet Healthy, it’s a good duo. I like the way they use Sam in the offensive. They offer their plan that does what it does best. Defense, I think their secondary is wonderful. When you have all that – the guys start to make games on line D – It will be difficult to beat them.”
Darnold and the Seahawks will have a difficult NFC West match against his former team, 49ers, September 7 at home to launch the 2025 campaign in front of “The 12s” for the first time.

Appreciate those who serve us
While Alexander loved Talking Shop, he also liked to meet men and women in the army through USAA Salute to serve the NFL training camp, competition in exercises similar to those that the Honorary Member of Seahawks did.
Alexander admired competitiveness during the 40 yards dashboard, a wide jump and more exercises at the NFL combination, calling the “special” day.
He also has a special appreciation for soldiers given his own family ties. His second oldest brother was a 22 -year -old military veteran.

“I just considered him as a hero. As if I had an older brother who is a hero. He protects the country,” said Alexander about his brother.
“You cannot undo what you were part of. It’s like ” guy, I know what you are doing all, and I know that you are crushing grinding, and sometimes you want to stop it. But you are a hero for someone. ” So, it’s like a little 10 year old child who is like:” Dude, I’m going to give everything I have to go to be great. “And thank you for doing this.
